Corporate Sponsorship

We’re already gearing up for next summer which is scheduled to take place July 9-15, 2010.  During that one week approximately 250 youth will re-roof more than a dozen homes for low-income senior citizens.  These youth (grades 6-12) come together from several Atlanta-area churches, churches from other states, and 2 local youth service agencies to re-roof homes.  Through their hard work, these youth are helping to give their neighbors in need a safer and drier home in which to live.

M.A.P. began in 1999 under the direction of Northside United Methodist Church in order to provide young people with an opportunity to do mission work right here in Atlanta.  This past summer, the homes of 15 elderly families got new roofs.  Many of those roofs had not been replaced in 30 years.  Together the youth volunteers removed several layers of old shingles, repaired rotten decking, laid new felt paper, hammered hundreds of pounds of nails, and re-shingled 15 homes.  Each year, it is truly amazing to see the difference M.A.P. makes in the lives and relationships of the youth, adults, and families as you work together to cross the economic and racial lines that divide our society.

In 2010, we hope to do even more.  With your help we can.  Please consider being one of M.A.P.’s corporate sponsors this year.  This past summer, our budget was approximately $200,000.  In order to continue our re-roofing efforts, we need more help from our local business community since M.A.P. is funded completely by donations from corporations and individuals.  If you choose to be a corporate sponsor, we will make sure that your company’s involvement is recognized in a variety of ways.  With over 4,500 members at Northside United Methodist Church, which serves as M.A.P.'s home base, many opportunities exist for using your company’s name or logo on our banners, t-shirts, print advertisements, etc.  There are several levels of giving opportunities.  Below you will find the various sponsorship levels.  Further, M.A.P. is a 501(c)(3) organization under the direction of Northside UMC so your donation would be tax deductible.
